I belong to the Wellness Center and pay $49 a month. They don't require a contract, it's month to month. However you have to give 30 days notice to cancel, so you always have to pay for just one more month. From what I understand, the trainers there are required to hold college degrees in sports medicine or some other related field, while Lifestyle Fitness's trainers are regular personal trainers with a few months of training. I'm not putting down personal trainers, I know it's difficult to learn and be certified. I'm just pointing out the difference in the level of training required between the two centers. That said, it may not matter to most members. I love the Wellness Center because the members range in all ages and sizes and seem very committed to improving their health. I've never been in Lifestyle, but I've been told by others that they are more of a social environment. *dunno*

The Wellness Center. I need a pool for working out, and the price is okay considering the resources available.
