That doesn't surprise me. It seems like that stuff occurs occasionally in the restaurant industry ... especially in Johnson City.

Similiarly, the Sophisticated Otter went out of business for, uhhh, not the greatest of reasons. And it appeared to be one of the most successful restaurants/bars in the entire city.

I ventured in there today to look for dining room chairs - didn't happen . But I also looked at every other store in JC for the chairs I want I can think of. It is one of the smaller Target's I've been in, but a nice one anyway. They had a lot of sale items. I used to go to Super Target in Richmond - now that was a store!

It's probably one of the oldest around anymore. It opened in 1995. So yeah, it's a bit small and crusty but it also has a lot of character - like cosmetics being in jewelry. I really like it, but the new stores are laid out very differently.

Default Bww

Well it appears that the info is correct Kingsport will be getting a Buffalo Wild Wings they have posted an ad in the paper for a manager at the KPT TN store, and was also able to find this online. I just cant believe this will be located at East Stone Commons where the old Montgomery Ward Tire Center was instead of at Kingsport Pavillion

Man....I've been wishing for a TGIFridays in the Tri for YEARS...their Pot Stickers and Seasame Jack Chicken are the bomb. As for Wild Wings,I know for a fact that this rumor has been around at least a couple fo years...I remember when Best Buy was opening up in Kingsport and there were trucks with the Wild wings logo spotted in the Target parking lot. No idea whats taking them so long,or even if they're still going in,but it would be nice to get another wing joint in the area.
