Default Apartments in South JC

Hi, guys! Our lease is up soon and so I'm apartment hunting. I found a great apartment complex with a pool, tennis courts, gym and a gated entrance -- the only problem is that it's in more of the (what I call) midtown area.

I really, really would like to stay in South JC. The area has a younger, more energetic vibe, and with all the improvements forthcoming to downtown and the SoF corridor, I feel like a lot of neighborhoods are up and coming. Plus, I spend most of my time around the university, Tree Streets and Walnut areas.

So here's my question. Does anyone know of a nice, newer 2 br / 1.5 or 2 ba apartment complex with a pool (necessity) in the greater South JC area? I'm even willing to move out into the Milligan Hwy area. I have to keep my expenses under $650 a month. Just keep your eyes open.

Thanks, ya'll!

JenninJC is on a distinguished road
I don't know what your income is (I believe they are income based apartments), but on Plymouth Rd. there is a nice complex called Plymouth Ridge I think? They have a pool for sure. They are about 2 years old? Look nice from the outside. Also a couple newer complexes on Swadley Rd.
