Doubt it. The only way it could happen is if several large corporations started forming in Blountville. But I guess its conceivable if the next Bill Gates is plugging away in his Bluff City garage. Can you imagine the traffic in Kingsport? I can't even imagine what we would do with our airport.

Depends on how bad global warming gets. If greensboro becomes the new nags head, I'd say the new megalopolis of Bringson is soon to follow. (or Kistron?..how about Johnolport?)

I dont see it happening in our lifetime. There is even too much land in the cities to expand... we have not even seen skyscrapers yet, which is something I would like to see. Several 10-11 story tall buildings in Bristol and a couple 10-11 story tall in Johnson City is about it for this area.
