Default C-D summer meet and greet?

Hi Y'all,
I had a DM from a few members that they will be in the area between May17th and the 22nd and wondered if we were planning a meet and greet during that time. Sounds like as good a time as any to me. Anyone else up for it? If so, any suggestions on a place or activity in the area? Should it be a picnic type thing at a local park or at a restaurant? See the East TN way is that if you have more than 2 people getting together, there MUST be food involved LOL!.
All suggestions and ideas welcome, also please post here if you are interested in attending.

I think a restaurant would be a great idea! I should be around then and would be glad to come out.

That would be great mb. Mike and I could probably make it if the meeting place isn't too far from Johnson City. We hate driving, lol. Let us know what is decided. A restaurant might be an easier choice depending on how many people show.

Hope to see you there.

We will be in the area and would not miss it for the world!

Since we will be on vacation, we are more than happy to defer to everyone's busy work-week schedules.

We will be 2.....Palma and Jan

If it's not too far from JC and if we're in the area we could try to come. Too much up in the air to say for sure, as we're traveling between Ohio and TN sometimes at the drop of a hat. The house is coming up VERY slowly. Our builder has a kidney stone, poor guy, and between that and the rain, you can just imagine. We had hoped to move in May, but no way.

And I agree with younglisa, that a restaurant is the best option. Easy.

OK, sounds like this is a go.
I will call around to some locally owned restaurants and see what I can arrange.
Please, everyone keep jumping in here to let me know how many will be attending as that may make a difference as to where we have this shindig.

Ok folks, Talked with Terry and Liz, the owners of The Russo Orleans. They are going to let us use the private dining room area on either Wednesday the 20th or Thursday the 21st. And they will give us a break on some appetizers, I will take care of those.
What does everyone think of that and what day works best for everyone?
For those that are not familiar with the restaurant, they are located in the Kroger shopping plaza on Browns Mill Rd, just off of Roan St, a block or so from the 26 exit.
