4 of the last 5 water bills i received from the city have been identical. Seems like quite a coincidence that I have used the exact same amount of water the last 3 months in a row. Anyone else having similar billings? I thought they were supposed to tell you if they were estimating your bill?

Just checked, mine have been different. Maybe you should give them a call? I assume they don't have an "equalizer" like the Power Board does... maybe you accidentally signed up for it!?

Oh they came by and left a note in my door and had checked the area that stated they had checked my water meter [oh yeah, how did you check it? Did you look down in the little box and just say "Yup, There's a water meter down there", and so supposedly everything is hunky-dory?] I was downstairs working in my shop when they came by and they never rang the bell or announced their presence. I found the big yellow service tag on the doorknob when I went out to the mailbox. "Therese" hand wrote a remark on it about some bulls--t that mentioned that they recommend I do a dye test on all my toilets." My toilets are not leaking or running etc., so forth.
I remain suspicious that they aren't reading all the meters anymore to save on personnel. I mean come on. I have apparently used the exact same amount of water February, March and April that I also used in December!?! Quite a coincidence. They also didn't change the year from 08 to 09 until my March bill. I guess I'll have to start reading my meter and writing down my readings twice a month to check them on it. I think I'm being jerked.
