Mellow Mushroom - Johnson City, TN
I saw that Mellow Mushroom was listed in the New Business section of the May Tri-Cities Business Journal. Anyone know when, where, and who is putting this in? I can't wait until its here.
Also the owner's address was Bluff City, but I'm thinking its going in Johnson City because it was listed as: "The Mellow Mushroom of Johnson City, LLC."

Oh, now this is *very* interesting! Yep, I'd imagine just the franchisee lives in Bluff City... I mean, who would want a Mellow Mushroom in Bluff City? 
I've heard people talk about one going in the old NASCAR Cafe location. But I think that's a bad spot for a MM.... it's just sort of junky and offbeat.
(In other restaurant news, I see that some sort of deli is going in near Barberito's.) |

Nobody should EVER go into that old NASCAR place. Has that location been cursed, or what? It has been about five restaurants over the years.

I LOVE MELLOW MUSHROOM. I hope they do put one in here, I hate having to drive to Asheville or Boone just to eat pizza. I've heard the old nascar cafe building too, but I don't see that happening. I'd say they will go in somewhere downtown or in South Johnson City near ETSU
