The billboard on Roan Street
Am I the only one a bit disgusted by this? It's for a pizza place and you can see it at the light by the VW place/Katie Cash/Rex. I'm not stupid and can see what it insinuates and I just think it's a bit inappropriate. I didn't think it would last long up there and after seeing the Calvin Klein ad, it reminded me of this.

 That's why the South has this weird stigma surrounding it. Please, it's just a joke. It's funny. *Seriously.*

What is wrong with the billboard? The pizza is called big daddy, it really is a big pizza and very good. You should try one.

I posted about this in the pizza thread. I have no idea why somebody would take offense to this - you see worse things on TV every day. Even the Hooters billboard is worse, and it is being compared to this, or this? I thought was pretty funny!

It is a smirking guy holding Fox's large square pizza called the "Big Daddy" in front of the vicinity of his groin, and it says "Yeah, it's that big" or something to that effect.

Made me laugh.
I turned to dear hubby and said "I want a big daddy for dinner" and pointed to the sign.
We both died laughing.....I really did want the pizza but it was funny.

<G> I first saw it when me and my roommate were in the car. I have a very dirty sense of humor so I can't repeat what all was said that night, but I think it's grand.

Well that does it. When I get back to Johnson City I am making that billboard viewing a priority!

I would be against the KC ads because kids shouldn't be smacked in the face with that kind of garbage, but this sign is just going to go over kids heads. They'll just see a big pizza - innuendo or not.
This proves my observation skill. I must have passed that billboard 5 times in the past week ... never noticed it. If your getting mugged in a parking lot, don't count on me.
