Question 55+ Communities NE TN

I am trying to find out the various 55+ communities in and around the Tri-Cities area. One I know of is Cobblestone Court in Kingsport but I am sure there are many more. Please post any you know. Thanks.

What exactly do you mean by "communities"? HOA Communities, School Districts, Real Estate Communities, General Subdivisions?

Actually I think this sight might give you more of what you may need. Moderator cut: link removed, linking to competitor sites is not allowedI typed in "families" "Tennessee" "Bluff City" "15 mile radius" to capture pretty much everything in the TriCities.

JC - Austin Springs, Princeton, Boones Creek, Carnegie, Keystone, Tree Streets, Mountain Home, North Johnson City, Milligan, Oak Grove, Watauga, Piney Flats, Okolona.
I'll agree with a couple of these (Austin Springs, Mountain Home proper, Piney Flats/Grove)... but, Tree Streets? Really? I don't think so.

I live on the perimeter of Mountain Home and there are many young people here, too. College students, young families with kids.

Keystone and Carnegie are more poor neighborhoods and less 55+ communities, I would say.

Between Sycamore Shoals and Eilizabethton Golf Course; so the JC side of Elizabethton.

The Overlook of the Villas at Browns Mill | RT Homes
This is one in JC that was listed as AA, not sure if it is strictly 55+

A few more maybe, besides the Overlook of the Villas at Browns Mill that I already mentioned. (The one I gave a link for that I think I wasn't supposed to do.)

Pinebrook Place in Kingsport. "One level senior living."

The Cottages at Feather Chapel in Blountville. "Each of our active lifestlye communities consists of spacious single-level luxury homes with shopping, health care and restaurants located within minutes of each community. Exterior maintenance is provided, so there is more time for you on your schedule. With three distinct locations, you can now retire to the lifestyle you deserve while surrounded by the beauty of east Tennessee."

Thanks for the info. Those places you listed are what I am trying to find. Perhaps I wasn't clear enough with my question.

I would like to list the various 55+, 62+ active, or independent retirement communities that either sell or rent in the Tri-Cities area. Most of these type of communities limit or exclude younger people. The communities I have been able to confirm as being in this category are:

Kingsport; Pinebrook Place, Cobblestone Court

Blountville; The Cottages at Feather Chapel

Thanks to all for your help. Are there any others? Thanks
