Can anyone suggest a good place to get my oil changed? I don't need anything else done. Normally, I get this done at the dealership where I bought my car (they give me a discount and it makes it cheaper or on the same level as other places), but I'm not driving to Chattanooga for an oil change.

I'm just looking for some place reasonably priced and that won't mess up my car (a friend got their oil changed and they didn't put the cap (?) back on correctly and all the oil drained out of his car once he drove about 7 miles).

Thanks in advance.

I go to Hayworth on the Bristol HWY in JC. I think it's about $25. I get all my tires there too.

FWI, my dad used to go to Walmart. That ended when they stole the skid plate from the bottom of his Chevy Tracker.

Why don't you call the local dealer and see what offers they have?

A friend of mine uses the place right beside Cootie Brown's. I went with him once and they seemed very professional.

Jab, is that JiffyLube?

If so, I would note that they charge about $40, but they are fast and professional.

Jeff and JD are good people, highly recommend hayworth.

They are the ones that left the plug/cap off my friend's car. Luckily, they reimbursed him for not only the failed oil change, but also the tow truck.

Jab- I did call Tri-cities Nissan, but wasn't too impressed with their "deals." I guess I'm spoiled since I got discounts with my dealership in Chattanooga ($15 oil changes and cheap tire rotations & transmission flush). Oh well. I'll find something.

Thanks for the suggestions, guys.

I would recommend Express Oil Change. They have several locations in Kingsport. You can also, on occasion find coupons for them at KingsportDeals.com.
