We would like to relocate to the Tri Cities area and are looking for Windows System Administrator Jobs, (12 years experience) could anyone tell us which are the larger technology employers in the tri cities? We are presently in Straw Plains north of Knoxville. Our retired parents are relocating to Kingsport. They took care of us, now it is time to take care of them. Ehh... not sure about "technology employers." I do see some adverts for sys admin and other IT jobs on Craigslist at times, but I'm not very knowledgeable about the industry. There is a fairly strong grad program at ETSU, maybe they can provide you with some resources?

I grew up in the area & had been in Atlanta since college. MYhubby also a system administrator had a hard time finding an IT job. They exist but the wheels turn slow
