Opinions on Farragut side of Knoxville
We are looking at homes in the Farragut area and it seems like the perfect area for us. We haven't personably been there yet to check it out (planning a road trip in the near future) but I was wanting opinions of that area or similar-type towns in the Knox area. Here's what we're looking for:
1. somewhere close to a bigger town, 15-20 minutes
2. at least 1/2 acre lot, we are sick of "the row houses that all look the same" feeling
3. lower crime and secure, friendly community (neighbors looking out for neighbors type community)
Please let me know of the towns around the area that come close to this description. I have heard alot of good things about Maryville and am not opposed to living in another county, but close enough to Knox County. No kids so the school system is not worry. Also, is this area growing out of control like where I live now and, if so, is it more of a controlled growth as in having the brains to put the roads in before the 10 subdivisions? Thanks
