Default Smoky Mountains

Not sure which area of Tennessee you are planning on visiting but if you are going anywhere near East TN. The Smokies are a "must see".
I can't imagine coming to East Tn. without going to Sevierville,TN ,then right down the road is
Pigeon Forge,Family Vacation Fun and of course Gatlinburg.

The only drawback would be that it gets a little crowded during the 3 main months of June,July and August. Oct. gets a little busy too with the changing of leaves.
Western N.C. is also just a hop and a skip from here and Asheville is beautiful. The Biltmore house should be on your list.
Middle Tn. around Lebenon and Murfreesboro are very nice. Not to mention all the well known attractions in Nashville.
West Tn. I am not crazy about. I guess if you are a Elvis fan you could squeze in a vist to Graceland.

We just loved Opryland! Just walking through their gardens and around the property was real nice.

Default Definately Cades Cove

Cades Cove is one of my favorite places to hike and see wildlife in the country. It is so beautiful. Especially if you are looking to see Bear Butts...lol

We always take our visitors to the Biltmore House in Asheville, NC. And strangely enough, many of them want to visit caverns...?! And although it is not my "thing", some have insisted on a tour of the Bristol Motor Speedway. I must admit, even I was fascinated.
