cassel ridge has income restrictions and they accept section 8 vouchers. It is ok but the few times I have been down there the dumpsters were over flowing and some of the tenants had their van seats setting on the balcony for patio furniture. Kind of ghetto imo.

It looks over I-640. It's right at the intersection of I-75 and I-640. You can't miss it. It looks fine from the highway, but I don't doubt the previous poster. From the property it may look and be completely different.

Unless you have your heart set on Cassel Ridge there are other options within the same general area. Tanglewood on Tillery Rd is nice, no application fee and about 60 bucks cheaper a month. Steeplechase is really nice too and no application fee. Woodgate is really nice and in a great neighborhood with great schools.

Default safe area of knoxville for young adult

My young professional child will be moving to Knoxville and will need a safe apartment in the West Knoxville area or near Park West Hospital. Any recommendations or comments about this area of town? Thanks for your comments and recommendations.

i think tanglewood does but you might want to call them and ask. I know they accept pets with a deposit.

For the most part..That area is fine...Its called Cedar Bluff...Its had some crime lately,But usually crime over there is pretty rare...Sunchase Apts aren't to far from Park West...I know not everybody likes Sunchase,But they are safe
