Default Alcoa

Doesn't seem like many people talk about Alcoa, or the neighborhoods I know the housing is cheaper there, and I am interested because I can afford it. What are some of the areas like that are listed in the MLS, for housing under 100,000 even in Maryville I am finding houses in the MLS that fit my criteria, are these in bad neighborhoods? Just hoping I can find something nice in a halfway decent neighborhood so I can move to the area. It is just me, so schools are unimportant, but I just want to feel safe.

Is there anyone online here that kind of give me the rundown on the names of the streets or areas in the Maryville, Alcoa area that I should really watch out for. Being out of state and looking online is SO HARD. Plus, I can really only afford something less than $100,000.........Where do people live that do not make a whole lot of money in the area where they can still be safe?

Hi there sillygal -

I know the areas but can't remember the names of the bad streets. I will drive around and see what I can find out. Hopefully someone else that knows Alcoa even better can chime in. There are nice areas in Alcoa, keep the faith.

Alcoa has a lot of nice areas, but you really have to see it for yourself.
