Looking for Info on Dandridge TN
Considering the Dandridge area to relocate to.
How is the real estate market, looking for rural, small 2 bedroom prefer cabin, or home with land, minimum 1/2 acre. No subdivision living please.
Will be needing some kind of work, don't want a long commute, salary is not an issue, just want work for health care benefits and to pay for groceries since we will be semi retiring.
Why Dandridge, we love the idea of the lake nearby as we have a wave runner and two dogs who love the water as well.
Totally burned out on Florida, lived here for 28 years and the crime rate is going thru the roof along with all the immagrants.
We are looking for a quiet place to hang out with our pets. We are NOT city people at all.
We are planning a trip up to the area to look around and would also like to hear of any recommendations on where to stay or where to avoid, hotels or cabins that might rent for 3-4 nights.
Susan

There are much nice properties in the Dandridge are than the Kodak area, I build log home here in Wisconsin for the ast 20 years and going to relocate there with my business. Poeple are very very friendly and helpful and low tax structure. Hope you enjoy your visit and the weather is so nice durint the summer months. Good Luck Bruce

Hey Hogladyrider, what size is your bike? You should find easy, what your desrcibing, and pending on what area you wish to locate. Be sure and visit Cowboys seafood rest, as a local and very good. You did not mention price range, and finding jobs, you will be about 30 minute drive into Knoxville, and only about same into Morristown, or Sevierville. Good luck, and let us know the areas you would like best.

wish I was as smart, to check the date. My question is, why do the older post like this, keep coming up. Oh well, maybe she is still looking?

The older post probably came up on an internet search, or possibly an Advanced Search here when DandridgeBound was surfing. Once DandridgeBound posted on it the post was brought up to the top. Older posts do have the blue shaded mark on the left side of them.
