Post Crab Orchard to Harriman

Hi all,

I'm sending this note out to the Knoxville forum since you're probably going to know this info best. We've noticed that Crossville is consisently cooler than Knoxville, yet it's not too far (Texaswise it isn't) out. I understand that Crossville is on the plateau, but how far eastward do the cool temps extend? Do Crab Orchard, Rockwood, and Harriman and the areas around them tend to be as cool as Crossville? Also, how are the winters compared to a typical Knoxville winter. I'm assuming the plateau typically gets a dusting each winter, while Knoxville doesn't typically get much snow.

Crab Orchard would be more like Crossville weatherwise, still on the plateau. Rockwood and Harriman are more like Knoxville weatherwise. Snow is more frequent in Crossville than Rockwood or Harriman. They are close on the map but, it's the elevation difference.

Thanks CreekCat,
I figured that, but couldn't find much reporting from the other towns. Any recommendations on agents near Crossville?
