Are there any specific areas to avoid in Maryville?

Also, where are the newer areas of Maryville? I am interested in homes that are less than 15 years old or so, and am wondering if they are more concentrated in certain places.

Thanks!

Maryville is generally a safe place and I haven't been anywhere that I've felt unsafe. Newer houses are spread all around the city of Maryville and outside of the city limits in the county as well. The south side areas outside of town probably has had more new construction in recent years, but there are pockets of new homes in all directions.

Maryville by and large is a very safe place. While Alcoa has a rough pocket or two (namely around North Hall Rd., mostly drug activity), those areas are very small.
