I am relocating soon to the Knoxville area. I am a certified Special Education teacher and Elementary Teacher. Does anyone have any suggestions for what districts would be good to work for and which have opening this year? I am hoping to find a job on the west side, as I am looking at a house there. Does anyone have any thoughts?

Smile Knox County

I just know that it is a bit early for job postings, but I wanted to show that I am motivated and very interested. I know that there is a lot of UT students in the area, making the job search harder.

You can try a search of the Knoxville forum. This has come up more than a few times and local teachers have given their input.
