There was some wind damage in places, but Nashville almost always gets much more severe and extreme weather than Knox does.

Yes, we don't usually get the crazy weather that Nashville gets.

And this storm wasn't bad at all. We had one big gush of wind, a bit of a thunderstorm and that was it. It rained most of the night, though. Not a big deal.

West Tennessee and even Middle Tennessee get much more severe weather than us. Almost always the storms diminish quite a bit after they come off the plateau.

The treatment wall breached this morning during good weather. We got a couple of inches of rain yesterday. If the plant can't handle that much rain then it has issues.

In any event, the OP asked if we got hit with storms the caliber of what occurred in Nashville. The answer is "no." Have you seen reports of the damage that happened yesterday in the west and middle parts of the state?

That's what I thought. That's the reason we choose East TN, don't like those tornadoes!! Plus we like the mountains. Thanks!
