Sorry, I rarely notice things like Bass Pro - is this at the Sevierville/Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg exit off I-40, near Smokies Stadium?

JMT,
I've know Todd since 91, he's a great guy. His song writing approach is brilliant in summing up the best and worst of anything. "East Town Mall" sums up native Knoxville pretty well. Here is a link to a free download if you'd like to listen. http://www.lynnpoint.com/mp3/todd_st..._town_mall.MP3

Wow, that's like being excited that rowdy teenage gangs are moving to the area. CC is nice for getting hands-on, but buying online may tax your nerves less.

Yes, well I will admit that I do not like some things about circuit city, but I especially don't like that embarrassingly dated circuit city that currently exists there. It will be nice to see a better quality store.
A few weeks ago, I bought some computer ram at an amazing price that beat any online price... at this circuit city.
If they build a Best Buy, I'll be in heaven. To top it off, they'll need to build a Barnes & Noble.
The East Town Mall is full of bargains, but this one is somewhat depressing. I've seen worse, but this one is showing it's age. It needs to be demolished. I would agree that I often see it quite busy. The food court is shockingly popular.
If they knock it down, they would have an ideal place for a real new version of Turkey Creek with even better access from I40 and 640.
I just don't know how all these new stores will be supported by the somewhat thinner population on the east side. Perhaps people will drive from surrounding towns.
Oh, build us a nice bike path into downtown, and I'll be happy.

Where is East Knoxville exactly (bounded by what rds.)?
I am looking at a "MS Live Search" map and see South Knoxville on the street map, but do not see a label for E. Knoxville. Is it considered the area around the I-640, I-40, 11W juncture or SW of that?
It's important to grid out mall locations and a plan of attack on shopping spree days once we get relocated, right?

It's around that area. I'd put it East of Whittle Springs Road/Whittle Springs Golf Course and intersected by Millertown Pike and Washington Pike. 11W goes through what I consider to be East Knoxville.
