Any idea on whether or not applications from out of state teachers are taken seriously? Ideas on how many teachers actually get hired from another state?

I spoke with someone on the phone in one of the distrits...she basically laughed at the idea of hiring a teacher that was not from ETSU. I wonder how many disctricts feel that way?

How did your interview go in Newport...

IMHO....I would guess it would be hard for someone outside of the state to land a job with the cutbacks....

I'd say you just got your first example of what life might be like living in that district...

How was the Newport interview? What were your impressions?

The interview went really great....however they were looking for middle school math teacher...not my endorsement area
