Looking for a job around Knoxville
I don't know if this is allowed in this forum, but I'm posting here, just in case someone has information on job openings in my field around Knoxville. I already contacted a couple of recruiters but maybe someone has some contacts I don't.

I would check out sourcetn.org to find jobs... You can search by distance to your zip code, and you don't have to work to filter out any jobs that are "spam," like on Craigslist or Monster. Indeed.com is also excellent, but even some spam jobs end up on there.

I would DEF check the job listings for the federal facilities in Oak Ridge. Since you've worked in defense, do you have a security clearance? That would go a long way towards finding a job in this area. I would try
www.ornl.gov (Oak Ridge National Laboratory),
www.y12.doe.gov (Y-12 National Security Complex),
www.saic.com (SAIC)...these are just a few. Google "Oak Ridge + the types of jobs you're looking for" and you'll be in good shape. I agree TEK Systems is a good place to look as well. Good luck!
