Default Social groups

Are there any social groups in Knox for Democrats/Humanists etc?

I'm from NY and Im trying to meet like minded folks to discuss stuff with over coffee or something.

Im feeling intellectualy deprived. I love current affairs and such.

Meetup.com is always a good place to check... Here is a Democratic (http://www.meetup.com/Democratic-Knox-Meeting/ - broken link) group

I feel you though! I'm a Democrat, and they are rare (well a lot more rare than Republicans) to come across in ET.

This is a very active group. Rationalists of East Tennessee

The area's Democratic party is very active. Knox County Democrats

A great way to meet people is to join a campaign. Not only is the presidential election coming up but we also have a city mayoral election that is really heating up.

You'd be surprised at how many groups that have your same interests are around.

Hi ETSUAcounting Guy! I am one of those Democratic (Libertarian) Humanist (Atheist) types who may be moving to the area in the next month or so. I will be sure to contact you if my next chapter includes the Knoxville area. Peace....

Madam ink!

BTW - Is ETSU another college in Eastern Tennessee? If so, are you a professor or a student? Just curious!
