My wife & I are trying to come up with a great indoor venue in West Knoxville for our daughter's 5th birthday party.

We don't want a jump / bounce venue, we did that year before last.

I think gymnastics places always do a fairly decent job. Kids can wear themselves out on a variety of objects. You may want to check out The Little Gym in Knoxville

Then of course you have Chuck E. Cheese, Zuma Fun Center, LaserQuest (that may be too young for 5), Pony Party (not indoor, and hello, where was this when I was a kid?!)

Hope that helps!

Our daughter is having a princess party this year at www.apartyplacealcoa.com It's about a mile from the airport and we went to see it and were very impressed. I personally don't think the site photos do it justice. It's very clean, easy to get to, and the dress up clothes are very nice and not cheap looking. In my opinion, for the price, it's a steal. I plan to do my own games and favors for the kids, which totally up my alley, and you can bring whatever food you like, which is great because a lot of places limit your choices, hiking up the price you end up paying.

If you need some other choices, I've been compiling a list of party places at KNOXVILLE PartyNeRD - Home so check it out!

I see now that you are looking specifically in west Knox. Sorry about that! I totally missed that!

Try an ice skating party! Great way to beat the heat!
Ice Chalet in the Bearden area or Icearium out farther West

We just did my son's 6th birthday party at Smart Toys and Books - it was wonderful! He chose a Star Wars theme, but they have at least 40 or 50 themes with plenty of "girl" choices! The hosts that ran the party were great. They had the kids entertained and playing games the whole time. It ran very smoothly and everyone had a great time! Best of all, I didn't have to do a thing besides pay! The cake is included (themed to your party), goodie bags (also themed), and all the games and activities go along with it. We loved it and will definitely be looking at it again for next year!
