Default lenoir city info

hello everyone,
I was wondering if anyone could advise a newcomer from Michigan as to what areas around lenoir city are the nicest or upper class as far as home buying goes...A job offer may bring me that way and any info whatsoever about the area in general would be great.

Thanks in advance

That whole area is quite nice, and reasonable far as I can see, for the most part.

Just to clarify what do you mean by "upper class"? Are you looking for a particular "type" of people, or just nice houses? Or are you looking for a McMansion development? There are tons of all of the above.

There are lots of classy people who live in tiny little houses or mobile homes.

And there's tons of filthy white trash who happen to have the money to buy a mcmansion on a hill, and keep their nose in the air.

There are some very exclusive housing developments going up (gated communities, etc.) all over the area, (I for one have no interest in that kind of "class"--I want to live IN Tennessee, not have a gate to keep Tennessee out! )

There's tons of stuff here for everybody, but in my opinion, it's important to keep in mind it's ALL TENNESSEE so I wouldn't expect to be able to find Beverly Hills here.

Good luck!

Look along Tellico Parkway and the lake. Tellico Village, Tellico, Rarity Bay. Anywhere near the big golf courses there. Or go east to Farragut.

thanks for your reply bbkaren...by upper class i meant a nicer, newer neighborhood hopefully not overlooking the trailer park or trashy people you mentioned but certainly taking in the view tennessee has to offer. i wouldn't want a wall between us.

thanks

Funny how I say "here" as though I'm already in Tennessee...

My heart is, anyway!
