Hi everyone...
I just moved to Knoxville this week and am interested in finding/joining some Irish based groups! Any local Hibernian Society's in Knoxville? St. Paddy's Day parade groups (does Knoxville HAVE a St. Paddy's Day parade?)...how about just a few Irish folks that are proud of their heritage?? My lady and I are outgoing folks (she's 44 and I'm 51) that are looking to make new friends here in Knoxville...any suggestions are appreciated !!

The Irish Times Pub would be a good place to start. They have live music.

Well, it's not a group, but there is a great Celtic shop in Galtinburg called Celtic Heritage. Check it out---all kinds of Irish, Scottish, and Welsh things.

The Irish restaurants in town go all out for St. Patrick's Day, so does Holy Land on Sutherland. You can introduce yourself to these restaurants and if there are any Irish folks that meet there regularly, they can tell you. Don't forget Boyd's *** & Reel too.
