Yesterday we went to Mooyah on Kingston Pk just east of Morrell. It was great! The veggie burger was delicious! It was one of the best ones that we have had. I look forward to going back. They have beef too for all you meat eaters. You make the burger exactly as you like by filling in a card and then handing it to the cashier, no "Leave this off" or "Add this but not this."

Very yummy place and I suggest all to try it!

A chain, I see, but they have wheat bread, lettuce wraps, sliced avocadoes, sweet potato fries...nice touches. Good looking out!

We went back in the spring. Very good burgers and I like the ordering system. I also like 5 Guys for burgers.

5 Guys is one of a kind! If you leave there hungry, there's something wrong with you.

Just a note; we tried the new one in Gatlinburg about a month ago. Not good. Took 20 minutes to get our food, which I don't mind waiting, but there were only two other tables in the whole restaurant that were seated and one of them had their food. The next day all four of us had upset stomachs. Don't think it was "food poisoning" but rather something else.

We always go to the one in Pigeon Forge, it's closest to my house. I've never had a bad meal there, food is always fresh, hot and exactly how we ordered it. Place is busy but it's always always clean. I know it's in a "tourist" area, but if you are that direction and are hankerin' for a good old messy burger and some tasty fries, I recommend it.

Last night we treated ourselves out to dinner with a surprise gift card my partner received. We decided to go downtown (which is always fun and different.)

We decided to do Cafe 4 and we were so glad we did. The food was great and sitting out on the Square was wonderful. The weather was cool and people watching was so much fun.

If you go, which you must, please get the spring rolls. The dip they bring out with them blows any other appetizer out of the water.

I love Cafe 4. Sometimes the daughter and I just stop in for dessert which is great, too. The Square Room is in the back and I've seen people in there that are actually my age! In fact, I think that the nightlife downtown is not just for college-aged folks or a bit older. I've driven through the Old City and found old fogeys like me coming out of some of those places. Of course it wasn't late at night. Maybe they were the owners!

I had some take-out from Pups Pit on S. Northshore yesterday.

The "jumbo" smoked wings were not good. Soggy, listless, and over cooked.

I was pleasantly surprised by the ribs though. Meaty, and seasoned well (not salty), with a decent amount of smoke. They retained a reasonable pull off the bone (can't stand a fall off the bone", over cooked rib).

I'd give the wings a 2.5 and the ribs a 7.5 - This was my first visit and bbq joints can be up and down so your mileage may vary.

Thanks for the review. I recently bought a 75% off coupon (half of half off) on Half.com for this restaurant and gave it to my son. He loves ribs so I will tell him to not waste his time on the wings.

Just came across this. Cruze Farm is heavily mentioned, along with a great feature photo of Miss Cruze, in the New York Times. Also mentioned is the Market Square Farmer's Market, Blackberry Farm and the Foothills Milling Company!

Interesting piece on Memphis BBQ in Knoxville. There's even some info on a BBQ non-credit course you can take at UT!
