I have lots of food allergies and have not had any processed food or prepackaged food of any kind for 8 years now - definitely nothing with HFC. The fibromyalgia is under control most of the time and if it flares up, I know that somebody slipped something into my restaurant food that I asked not to have!

Turkey Creek is south of I-40 between Lovell Road exit and Campbell Station Road exit. Earth Fare is closest to the Lovell Road exit. From Maryville, I'd take Alcoa Highway to Pelissippi to I-40 to Lovell Road. It's to the left at the top of the off ramp, go past Shoney's, IHOP, etc. and turn right at the light at the BMW dealership.
Earth Fare is on the right, across from Wal-Mart. There's a Super Target on the left about a mile. Pier One, PetsMart, other stores. If you keep going past Target and the big movie theater on the left, you'll get to another shopping area, this one has Borders, a bunch of restaurants, World Market and other shops.
You'll find a lot of things at Earth Fare for people with food allergies, including frozen and prepared foods.

Hik, I hope you get more relief from your FM as your diet gets less processed. My rheumy had told me that there is a proven link between autoimmune diseases (arthritis, fibromyalgia, lupus, etc.) and Equal/aspartame. Avoid all of those nasty things if you can. Hope you feel better.

gem - Earth Fare is located in the same area as the other I gave you directions to/for (excuse the grammar). Alcoa Hwy to Pellissippi Pkwy to Kingston Pike exit straight across KP (pass Chili's on the right) to Left on Parkside Drive at the "T" and just keep going and wonder at all before you until you hit Campbell Station Road

If I'm going up Kingston Pike from the East (Bearden), how do I get there? I pulled up map quest, but it doesn't seem to jive with everyone's directions. I am sure I am having a comprehension problem. Much like yesterday's communication problem.

If you don't want to get on I-40, you can stay on Kingston Pike if you prefer that over the interstate.
At North Peters Road, turn right. You'll go through the shopping area where you've got Dick's Sporting Goods, Lowe's, Fuddruckers, et al. North Peters Road curves around and becomes Parkside Drive where it parallels I-40 and then puts you right into Turkey Creek after it eventually crosses Lovell Road.
But really the quickest way to get there from Bearden is to get back on I-40 and head west. After the Pellissippi/I-140 split, take the next exit, Lovell Road. Turn left. Scoot over to the right lane on Lovell Road and turn right at the first light. There's a huge "Turkey Creek" sign at the intersection. After you turn right to get into Turkey Creek, you'll pass the new women's hospital on the left. Then Wal-Mart will be on the left. Earth Fare will sneak up to you on the right.
Good luck!

Thanks! Those sound like great directions!
There's a whole shopping land that I somehow have missed!

Thanks, SmokyMtnGal. Wasn't sure if Earth Fare was right in the Turkey Creek shopping complex or just that area. I am sure we will find it. Looks like we'll be up on Friday - cannot wait!

Thanks, everyone for the directions!
I just printed JMT's, SmokyMtnGal's, and knoxgarden's directions, hiknapster. If one gets me lost, I'll try another!
Maybe we'll bump into each other, hik, on one of these routes. We'll be in the car pulled off on the berm holding the map upside down.

I'll be in the red Saturn. I'm tall, overweight, and far too old to be the mother of that pretty little seven-year-old girl skipping along beside me.

Ah, but she keeps you young! And hopefully, you'll all be in for a treat, because a lot of times on weekends, they cook up a bunch of their specialty foods and serve them in bite-size chunks. So you can get a taste of some really great cheeses and meats. I usually sneak back for seconds.
You'll want to buy everything, until you get a look at the prices.

HIK, you make Lauren skip beside the Saturn? Now, not is just not right. I'll look for you and give poor Lauren a lift.
Once you get to Earth Fare and start eating the way you want, you'll still be tall, but you won't think that you are overweight or toooo old. And, besides, I'm old enough to be your Mom, so to me you are a youngster. Had my youngest at 40, so I know the feeling. What fun just keeping up!!
