Knox County Schools...
7 Knox Co. schools may be added to state's high priority list
Ten Knox County schools are already on the state's list as high priorities. They include two elementary schools, one middle school and seven high schools that were added in August.

I wonder if schools actually instituted discipline again and removed the kidlets that refuse to learn and always disrupt the class if the scores would go up?

It probably would.
My friend sent me this list, and I thought I would put it up, since we have a lot of questions regarding which schools are the best. At least the list says which ones are having problems. It's a list I haven't seen on here before.

An additional suggestion...
Higher numbers of supportive and involved parents would improve schools, too. (I'm not saying most of us aren't that way -- just that every child would benefit from that.)

Parent involvement means better education, discipline & neighborhoods.

I am planning on moving to TN by most likely December. I have been searching for information on schools and neighborhoods to live and I have been drawn to Farragut, but after reading through this forum I am not sure I "really" want to live there other then just for the schools. I would like to know some other areas that I can target for good schools as well. Thanks for the list of ones to be aware of I will keep this in mind as well. I am going to be working in and around the Farragut area. Any information will be helpful.
