I will not panic! I will not panic! I will not panic! HELP!
I'm panicking! Long story short but it looks like our house will sell - 6 months sooner than planned! Have checked extended stays and corporate apts and they are outrageous! Any suggestions for short-term furnished places will be greatly appreciated. Oh, in the West Knoxville-Oak Ridge, Clinton areas. Thanks.

Check craigs list for sublets.
knoxville sublets & temporary classifieds - craigslist
You may also want a short term rental and furnish with rented furniture if you don't want to move all your stuff in. Lots of complexes will rent for six months. |

Hey, everyone, thanks for the responses. We were out of town this weekend visiting family and didn't find out for sure until about 9:00 Friday night that we had a "fer shore" contract! I have several places to call today so maybe something will turn up. My dear daughter and wonderful son-in-law are insisting that we move in with them but THAT will be a very last resort. I want them to keep being as dear and wonderful as they are now and I want THEM to think the same of US. Understand???!!! Thanks again. Will keep you posted.

I totally understand about the reluctance to move in with your daughter and her husband. The first 3 days are wonderful, then we become parents again!!! |

And even worse, they have three children, the oldest ( a girl ) who thinks I'm an easy touch!
