I thought I'd stop in on the chat thread and say "hi". Lots of troubles lately. Lots of challenges. I'll send out good thoughts that it gets better for everyone.
Happy day before Friday!

Glad Mrs. Bones is OK. Hope it will all be good news!

Pam hoping that apartment search means it will be sooner, not later!

Gem hoping all is well! Missing you!

Gailli hope that your DD is OK. So far it has been very soggy but otherwise not too bad for my son. Thanks Suzanne for the report... you know what a Mom needs to see!

Mystic... how awful for you and for your friend. There just are no words that can offer comfort at times like this. Just being there for your friend when you can should mean a lot. Bell's Palsy can be caused by several things and has a very varied time for recovery depending on that. I am hoping your will be the shortest possible healing time.

Hello to to the "new" chatters.

We here in the Orlando area have had non-stop rain all day and have been promised another 8 hrs. as Fay moves west at 5 mph. So, Tuesday was absolutely nothing compared to what's happened today, into the night and most of Friday. Wind gusts up to 50 mph tonight. The farther one lives from the East coast, there is a greater chance of increased wind and rain as well as duration. So even though Fay is not a hurricane, she is producing an underpredicted rainfall. At least we haven't seen any gators, snakes or fish in our driveway. The creek on the back of our property is holding its own.

My parents just drove through it. They live in Boca and are driving to Knoxville to visit. They said that they passed cars that were overturned. They made it safely to Ashburn Ga last night, thank goodness. I was worried! They should be here this afternoon!

Happy Friday, TGIF!
