Hik, thanks for trying to 'splain Gem's comment. Still don't understand why I need my heart blessed.

Morning All, Just wanted to say I hope you all have a sparklin' day! My take on the performance last night, gosh darn it it was one some fashion show! The ole gal next door meets the retired model. I do agree that the suit was nice and probably cost awhole lot less than the gril work, but I want to know how many face jobs are behind the brilliant smile. Not to offend anyone here but I dont care for either one of them. She is to "nice" and he's a "phoney", never trusts anyone that smiles that much.

Well, I'll bless your heart SMG, you deserve it sometimes for what you have to filter through on these boards and the decisions you have to make when one of us makes a boo boo and you have to decide whether to delete or not.

So; GOD Bless Your Pee Picken Little Heart (as June Carter Cash once said to me)

I'm sure it wasn't a slam, SMG! I believe Gem was being tongue-in-cheek, since Sarah blessed several hearts several times during her performance. And that's just what it was-- a performance-- and a pretty good one, at that. After that Katie Couric interview, expectations were low and fear of failure was high, so she performed better than expected. Really, she could segue into a career as an actress, especially with all those nice take-a-meeting suits.

I'm feeling such a need to have my teeth cleaned today.

Thanks Gailli, I appreciate the comment and you. June's grandfather and my great grandmother were brother and sister!

GBH - lol, I hear you on the teeth cleaning. I am thinking my forehead might need some Botox a la Joe as well!

I don't care to go on record as not particularly liking either of the choices the parties have presented; but I sure love pomp and circumstance of it all! What great fun to watch the process, like last night. Sarah has made it more fun this year for me; perhaps because we are close in age and are both hockey moms.

SMG, I can assure you that Gem would never have said something to insult you!! She is the sweetest person with absolutely the biggest heart!! She will be devastated when she sees that you took her 'blessing' wrong. I am positive that she was using it as a mimic of Sarah Palin because Sarah said it several times, along with her gosh darn it, etc.!! Growing up in the south, I always considered it a term of endearment!
