Well my agent got another call from the buyers agent and she thinks they will make an offer but asked to meet in the a.m, they wanted to "sleep" on it. So I guess I will toss and turn while they sleep, lol. Thank you all for the thoughts and prayers and all things crossed! Oh and Bones is the doghouse big enough for the boys and me?

Painter,
How I'd look at it is, this is a good thing. If they hated it, they wouldn't be sleeping on it now would they? They are thinking it out and not making a rash decision, which could come back and haunt them...... anyway I've decided to recross everything for you so we can get you home to Tn.
Want to borrow my ruby slippers? They really do work.
Pam

Note to self: do NOT stay off the Knxv. area chat thread more than 24 hours or you won't be able to keep up! I think your forum here might be the longest on C-D!!!

Pam, you mentioned Knoxville being like Kingston, NY & a big overgrown city - I was a bit overwhelmed, for sure! I grew up in Denver & it never seemed big (it's around 500,000 now). Albany is less than 100k but the tri-city area incl. the "burbs" brings # close to 500k. I lived in Wappingers fora few years & really thought that's wht Knoxville would be like - ha ha! I was blown away by all the strip plazas on the main drag in Knoxville!! Very encouraged that they sell individual units in those strip plazas (Albany area only leases them), but had hoped the downtown would have been more "shoppable". (is that a word?)

Mouse I will check out Kingsport - thx for the tip! So far I have taken what I've researched & visited from six states (NJ, PA, KY, VA, TN, & NC) and whittled it down to 3: PA, VA, & TN. Keeps coming up that Tennessee is the place for me! Now I just have to be able to set up a viable shop to pay the bills!

Have a great Columbus weekend everyone! I bet it's beyond gorgeous down there right now! When do your colors peak? Around Halloween?
