Aqurijen, so sorry about Parker, enjoy him while you can, its so sad to face losing a beloved pet, I would die without my Toughie.
Hik, that is great, I remember when my kids did scouts, it was such fun and so good for them, I like your idea of focusing on Self Esteem, that is so important.
suzanne, yes, we should miss the horrible traffic in Atlanta thankfully, I dread even going near Atlanta
J&EM, yes, its wonderful leaving and coming back whenever we want, there is something to be said about retirement isnt there
Well, I will watch the debate tonight and then go to bed early so I can hit the road early, I'm biting at the bit to get to FL and hold that Grandson of mine, he is almost two months already, time sure flies when you're having fun

Hik--What a wonderful mom you are! You seem to have a knack for balancing time for family, home and work. And, Lauren and you will be the richer for this great experience. I've always supported Scouts even tho' I don't have children. And, Lauren, will make you even more proud as she earns those badges. Great choice for topic--self-esteem.

Scouting is wonderful and a great confidence builder for all.
For those who have been asking about my real estate purchase. We got our final approval today and all seems to be on track. So excited. The next month will be one thing after another but before Thanksgiving we will be home owners again. YEAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH , thanks for all those who crossed fingers, toes, and eyes for me.

Oh, I wish. I just spent two hours organizing my desk and the surrounding area. I still have two rooms full of unpacked boxes and my bedroom has never been straightened. And I need to get to bed because I need to get up by at least 4:30!
I think being an early riser, and being able to fit in 40 hours on an early schedule really works for me. That's why I have not changed my position at work. I like my hours.
Anyway, this opportunity has really invigorated me. Lauren is so excited, too!
For all the people that asked, Lauren is still doing tremendous work at Sterchi. I can't get over how she has caught up. At the other school, they said she tested a full year behind. Yet, they didn't want to hold her back.
She is keeping up with her class, now.

I've noticed that, too, Pam. Lots of friends on here, but lots are missing. Even though there are a few of us, it still feels empty, and makes me kind of sad.
Do you know what I mean?
