Hik...I am so glad that Lauren is so happy!!!! That school sounds great!! You know through this entire moving experience with you I have been more and more considering moving to the Fountain City area instead of the tri cities area. And the more I hear about how wonderful it is from you, the more I quit searching north of there and focusing on that area. And now you tell me about the perfect school...what a blessing!!!! Wouldn't it be something if our kids ended up in the same school??? Would it be alright if I was your neighbor or close too it anyways?? I am so thrilled that all this has worked out for you so perfectly (even with the bumps and hills along the way)!!!!

Painter...every little bit helps so I am happy for you for that. I sure hope your homes sell soon so you can get moved!!!! Isn't that showing this weekend?? I'm keeping every possible part crossed here for you!!!!!

gemkeeper....We sure miss you here!!! I am looking forward to hearing from you this weekend!!! I hope your trip was wonderful and you made lots and lots of special memories!!!!!!

Are you kidding? You sound like such a super person! You would love it around here!

You know, I can't believe this is our house, but today, I couldn't quite believe that Sterchi is Lauren's school, or that this is our neighborhood. People walk and jog by all the time. Neighbors just stop to gab. There is this older couple that comes by every night and they ask about our day and give us little insights to the house or its previous owners.

Well I am glad I popped in tonite before shutting off the lights!
Hik, I told you I would send you the paint programs to use. By the way the B/G clubs are really a good thing. I use to help with the one in Murfreesboro for the fund raisers at Christmas. That one does alot for the kids. I am happy to hear how wonderful everything is working out for you and yours.
Fallfanatic, the showing was last weekend, nothing back from them yet. Like I said that guy was a idiot. He's told the realtor He loves every house that they looked at thus far. I'm beginning to think he has a thing for the realtor....eeaks!
Anyway I am turning off the lites for now. Have a good evening!!

Painter, glad to hear the update. You are funny with the realtor lust comment!

Gailli - have a great time. That SM Knife Works is amazing. They have some beautiful custom knives that I always enjoy seeing. It sounds as if you are showing the kids an awesome time! Good on ya.

Have a great day all and stay cool.

Fall Fanatic- Fountain City is a great area. I love Fountain City. I hope when it is my turn, I can find something in Fountain City or around JMT's neighborhood. Who knows what the future holds?
Hik- Enjoy your neighborhood and the chit chat with neighbors. There is nothing that can beat that sense of belonging in a place that is home. Would you believe that even out here in Dandridge we've established roots? This house was a year lease rental and we knew it was temporary and yesterday when we got our hair cut and I told the stylist we were moving to NC in 2 weeks, she wanted to know if we'd drive back for her to cut our hair? I'll have to give the ones in Asheville a chance. But setting down roots and making friends goes a very long way to feeling like one belongs and is home. You've waited a very long time to feel that way Hik, enjoy it.
Painter- I hope luck finds you and someone buys your house. I've uncrossed everything right now as my muscles were cramping....
Gem- are you back yet???
SMG- You still busy renovating?
If anyone wants to know why we are moving, read my blog here on CD, that answers everything.
Pam

Well, I read the blog. I am sure I am missing something, but I can't find where it says why you have to move to Asheville.

Hik,
Friends of ours said we could come live with them to ease the financial burden and be able to live things up.
