Default Chipotle's Coming to Turkey Creek

Along with a few other retailers, Chipotle's will be opening another location in Turkey Creek sometime in the fall.

Chipotle...meh. Cold (literally...freezing), hard, and unwelcoming dining area. Standard issue burritos from the parent company of McD's. They do use good quality ingredients, I'll give them that.

We already have one, The Shadow. That one is on The Cumberland Strip. The news is one is coming to Turkey Creek. Parking isn't always that great at The Strip, although that one is closer to me.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who feels that way about Chipotle's. I hear people rave about it. I went the first time to one over the weekend and was not impressed at all. I'd rather go to Salsarita's or Moe's.

I love all of these places. Chipotle, Moes, Salsaritas, Barberitos, and Qdoba!

I second that. I just feel it's overpriced.

Wow, not me. Don't get me wrong, I love all the burrito chains (Moe's, Salsaritas, Qdoba, Blue Coast, Barberito's), but quality wise, Chipotle stands head and shoulders above them in my book. You can taste the difference in the fresh, organic toppings they use. Their shredded cheese is among the best I've ever tasted anywhere, and their barbacoa meat is incredible. As far as the decor, I love modern, minimalistic design. So Chipotle's metal and sterile environment is great with me, plus it fits with their organic approach and more liberal/artsy leaning customers. Anyway, I can't wait for the two west Knox locations to open. I rarely ever went to the Cumberland location because it was so inconvenient to park and was small and always crowded.

Now, could we please get a Boston Market in Knoxville

Meh, I've never been a big fan but I think Boston Market has really slipped. It was better when McDonald's owned it but even then...

Not a Boston Market fan either. Just tastes like overcooked steam table sides and you can get rotisserie chicken anywhere now.
