Update on our move...home inspection Monday, close on 12/14. We're going to day to sign a lease on a "suite" at the newest apt complex in OR. (will make them date it for Tuesday, on advice of RE agent). I'm even in the mood now to put up a few Christmas decorations after we move in. But YUCK, have to start packing tomorrow. Maybe....daughter and family are planning to go to Dollywood and since it will be the newest grand's first time, I just MIGHT have to prioritize and put off packing another day!
Oh sorry, got carried away with the details forgot to explain the title....LauraC and i will be neighbors. Hopefully, we can meet over a cup of Starbucks some afternoon!

Congratulations, inave!!
Inave, things are moving so quickly for you. This is terrific. You situation must be the exception in this market.
We are all so glad that you found a temporary place so quickly. I hope the rest of the move goes as well.
Enjoy the grandbaby! They grow up to quickly to miss a single moment you can have with them.

Thanks everyone. It will be a long six months in our "suite" but I will just keep reminding myself it will be worth it. Besides, with the amenities the apartment complex offers, I might get too spoiled to move to a dull old condo!!!

Congratulations on getting it sold so fast!
A tip on moving boxes. Go to Dixie Box company on Middlebrook Pike in Knoxville.
Dixie Box Company, knoxville, tennessee, boxes, moving supplies, shipping supplies, movers, moving, real estate, custom boxes, box manufacturer, boxes, moving boxes, movers boxes
Print out the coupon on their website first.
Their boxes are a lot cheaper than Uhaul and the moving company places and I thought they were better. Used them for my last move. They have a whole lot of different sizes and shapes and can even custom make boxes for you.
Another tip: get one of those pro tape applier things and good tape -- 3M -- in large quantities at Sams Club. I found the cheap stuff costs a lot more in terms of frustration when it gets wrapped up in itself or splits.
Happy Moving! Better you than me. I hate moving.
