San Antonio to Knoxville
I have recently been presented with the possibility of a promotion that would take me from Texas to Tennessee. I have spent time in Chattanooga, Nashville and Memphis but never Knoxville. I will work in the Alcoa area and would primarily stick to that area for living. I am interested in information on the area of South Knoxville for good Apartments, Fitness Clubs and a bible-based non-denominational church. Any information offered is appreciated.

San Antonio and east TN are worlds apart but I guess you know that..my advice is to do what you have to do professionally there in East TN, and then make other proper career choices- the US is quite a diverse country.
Are you ready for a weather change ?? lol......

Welcome, and Knoville would be great, and not that bad of weather. If you lcoate anywhere in a 20 minute drive, you can choose south Knoxville, but if you want the places to work out, you can locate off of the Pellissippi connector, and a great church, is Cornerstone, which has approx 600 college guys and gals, most from the U T ministry on campus. Good luck.

This post was made in 2006. I would imagine that the OP has either moved or is staying put.
