I think MOST people would have no problem having a very comfortable life on $100k a year. The big question that only you can answer is, Can you? If you have very rich tastes, spend money like there's no tomorrow, then you might find it is not enough. If you are comparing your current life style in Colorado making $100k to the same lifestyle in Maryville then I think you will be pleased indeed.
