Mom's groups in W. Knoxville/Farragut area (home, neighborhoods)

Hey!! My family and I (hubby, 7 year old and 9 month old) are moving from Atlanta to the Farragut area come mid-Feb. I found it really helpful while I was at home with my youngest child to join a Mom's club so I wouldn't lose my mind and socialize with people who could relate to my situation. Can anyone recommend any groups like this in the area? It would really help us settle into the TN. area much easier having a social network to guide us around with simple things like pediatricians, churches, sports clubs, restaurants etc. Also, any Mommy and Me type classes or community clubs that sponsor music classes or scheduled play times that you could recommend are also much appreciated.
For my older daughter we are looking for a gymnastic club, dance center or soccer club. Thanks!!

We moved back from Atlanta several yrs ago and are very much in to gymnastics at a competitive level. There are 2 main competing gyms in the area Tatarus gymnastics and Premier Athletics. Both gyms are with in eyesight of each other off of Lovell Rd. We visited both gyms when we moved here and chose Tatarus. It is a family owned gym and Premier is a Corp. We can tell a difference, some may not be able to tell.

Just like Atlanta, AYSO is the soccer of choice, but there are also Upward teams as well and school teams.

There are many different social groups around and I have found most of them are related to the churches in some way. If you want some specific information on the gyms or anything else in coming from Atlanta, feel free to PM me.

My daughter isn't old enough for everything else, so I haven't looked into it yet.

My husband is being relocated to Knoxville with his company. We were just in the Knoxville area this past weekend trying to get a feel for the area and figure out the best place to live. Compared to where we currently reside, I don't think it will be too much of an adjustment...as long as there is a Target close by! ha! We have a 5 1/2 month old son and I would love to find a Mom's group to be a part of with him. Does anyone have any recommendations for such? Also, any thoughts on the best places to live (neighborhoods, etc) in Farragut somewhere in the 300k-400k price range? Thanks in advance!
