I've been seeing Dr. Ruth Bailey for about 17 years. Wonderful doctor.

I have an appt. with Alfred DeBusk coming up...don't know much about him.
It's really hard moving somewhere and finding good docs, accountants, and dentists and such.

Had some gum work with Dr. Caine here in OR. The work he did was just fine....but his receptionist leaves a lot to be desired....she is very defensive and rude in my opinion. I won't be going back there again.

I am bringing this post back.
We are really not happy with our dentist that we have been seeing. I think the final kicker was when, instead of rinse and spit at my last cleaning, they wiped my mouth down with gauze. Uh....I'm just used to something different.
Also, they use old xray techniques and nothing is computerized. And the last time I was in there it sounded like part of my file was falling out of this one folder. And the dental assistant got mad at me because I had to reschedule my appointment that last time.
So I'm just over it and I'm leaning toward making an appointment at the Dental Works in Turkey Creek. A couple of people in this thread have previously recommended them. Any other thoughts??
Thanks!

Wow. I can relate. My dentist uses the old-fashioned stuff and the office looks dirty and rundown.
But listen to this: About two weeks ago, the jerk yells at me right in the reception area. The word "idiot" was used. This had nothing to do with dental care, but there he was publicly humiliating me.
I am so over it and desperate for a decent dentist.

I'm sorry this happened to you. Going to a dentist is stressful enough. Being abused doesn't have to be added to the mix.
I hope you find a good one.
Dr. Cribbs comes highly recommended.
So does Dr. Mark Evans (both the one in Maryville -- who is a dear friend, and the one in Knoxville).

I will check out these recommendations. I'm going to try and make an appointment tomorrow.
Yeah. We weren't too wild about that dentist but that was a real jaw dropper. The workers in his office looked mortified but it also looked like they were use to this sort of behavior.
