Default UT ESL program (education in TN)

Hey! I was wondering if anyone has enrolled in The ESL program at UT. We will be relocating to the Farragut area from Atlanta come this Feb. and I'm looking into their program. I would like to know about the work load and scheduling of classes. Do they offer evening classes (weekends)or are all of the classes offered during the day? How long does it take to finish the program? Any info will help!

Also if anyone has info. on teaching jobs in Knox County, please feel free to respond. I have a ton of experience working with different methodologies and educational philosophies and would love to know more about how education is taking shape hear in TN. Hopefully I'll be able to make it to the Job Fairs come March, but any leads are appreciated!

Smile Soooo much information about teaching in TN on the forum.

Hi, rochienaza. I am also a teacher and will be moving to Tennessee soon. There have been many threads on teaching requirements and if you do a search at the top of the page it will lead you to more information than you ever hoped for!

Also, you might want to check the link I have included. It covers just about all that you are asking about for teaching in TN.

Best of everything, hope a job comes your way, and welcome to the forum. Let us know if we can help out in any other way.
