I am so sorry about your pneumonia and then, Mom's, too! You certainly do not need another thing to deal with.

I am sorry that things have turned out the way that they have for your sister and mom. This has to be harder on you than anyone can imagine. Lots of love and prayers are being sent your way. Just remember that we are taken care of by someone much greater than we.

Please feel free anytime to cry on our shoulders. They are a bunch of them to lean on. Take care and please stay in touch. We really care about all 3 of you.

Thanks everyone, it's been such a nightmare. I thank you for all the prayers. My sister has decided to go ahead with chemo since I told her I would pay her cobra payement this month and see what we can do from there. Tenn-Care really kills me the only way she can get on tenn-care if she has breast or cervical cancer. Not saying these are not serious cancer but I feel any cancer is serious and needs medical attention. I am writing our senators and US Representatives to get this changed, it may take time but maybe the next person won't have to go through this nightmare. Right now I can't even cry, I'm numb and I feel so helpless. I have heard God never gives us more then we can handle, so God I'm at my limit and hanging on by a thread. Thanks again for the prayers, you are all so precious to me.

I have a magnet on my fridge that was given to me many years ago while I was going through a rough spot in my life. It says " When you get to the end of your rope, hang on and swing".
You last statement reminded me of it again and it is true, when you get there, just hang on and swing, it will get better!

Luvmyanimals, if it will help, I will write a letter also to our US senators and representatives. This is a great worry for all of those suffering from any form of cancer. The expense of saving one's life should not have a price on it, but sadly, it does.

You are a wonderful sister for helping yours with the Cobra. That must be a great relief that she has agreed to the treatment.

There are good people in the world. We just have to ask God to help us find them sometimes.

Luv, I'll tell you just what I told our friend, first apply for SSDI and medicare. She got hers in less than 30 days (ssdi) and medicare is on it's way. Second, worst case get the treatment and if no one pays there's always bankruptcy for the medical bills.
I know BK is a bad thing and for many is a dirty word but it's there for situations such as this! Her life is worth more than ANY darned medical bill and y'all need to do WHATEVER it takes to get her better and to heck with the rest! Trust me, the hospital will survive no matter what you do and don't think for a minute that they don't expect a certain amount of people will do just that.
It's only money, they can't put you in prison,it doesn't mark you for life and they don't put a scarlet "B" on your forehead and they can't take everything you own.
In my mind money does NOT get to decide who shall live or not!
