Hi! I know this a pretty broad question, but is there anyone around here with a take on the dating scene in Knoxville for those in their late 20s or their 30s looking to settle down? I live in another, much smaller Tennessee city and I'm looking to relocate to Knoxville (I've been there numerous times to visit family who transplanted there). I am 30, female and a working professional. I'm not dating at this time, as I just got out of a serious relationship, but I imagine I'll eventually be ready to meet someone to have a long-lasting relationship with. Ideally I'll eventually marry and start a family (only if it's the right person, of course!). Since it's a "college town," I realize there will be a lot of singles there who are college aged, but I think you can tell by my description that's not exactly the kind of "scene" I'm looking for. I've never lived in a city this big before, so maybe asking this question is moot since there will be plenty of people to meet. I've been considering moving to Nashville as well.
