Well, I live in North Knox County and there is pre-K at my daughter's elementary school. It is a great program. I also hear that West Knoxville has very good schools. West Knoxville is more pricey than other areas of the county, just to let you know. As far as I know, all the schools have after-school day-care, also. My daughter attended the school's but now goes to Boys and Girls Club. It is $50 a week for after school care and $75 during the summer. Really great program!
As far as townhomes and condos, I would go to knoxnews.com.
