Well, yes, but I would be HAPPIER with 70 degrees and sunny. Even as a baby, I started crawling to get into the sun. Today was beautiful. I'm happy. The dog is happy. Life is good.

And if spring's a-knocking, I'm a-answering!

OMG! SMG is right! I ran and checked the weather channel: a high of 35 tomorrow and a low of 21 (!!!!), with 90% chance of freezing rain. In the low 30s every day this week, with chance of rain almost every single day. No sun in sight ALL WEEK.

Go ahead, shoot me now.

No, wait, guns are violent. Bad influence on the neighbor kids and young nephews. I'll just go lie down on the front walk. I should be frozen by midnight... especially if I wear my flip-flops.

Default The bomb

I just dropped the "2 weeks notice" bomb at work today. I should be kicking my feet up in Knox around March 10th! Yay!

Please tell me it will be warmer by then

It will be warmer everywhere in Knoxville except for GBH's front sidewalk! Her flip-flops will still be stuck in the ice.

Get up, GBH, put on some of that fleecey stuff and buck up, girl. There is spring-cleaning to look forward to!

And, congratulations, LilCabinGirl. Commitment is good!!!

Just checked the forecast (10 day). Wednesday looks like the only cold day. The rest looks like alternating sunny and rainy days in the 50's and 60's. Lilcabingirl, expect mainly highs in the 60s and lows in the 40s when you get here. By the end of March we should be hitting 70 some days.

Well, the local forecasters aren't predicting anything close to what you list. Todd Howell of channel 10 is usually the most error prone on cold temps, as he always seems to paint the picture colder than it really is, and even he is only predicting one real cold day on Wednesday.

I was such a nervous wreck! My boss really liked me and he was not happy with the news. Especially after I told him that I was just visiting Knoxville for a little R&R. It will be sad to go but I am so excited about my new adventure in Knoxville.

I already figured out a way to fight any dreary day blues. I've managed to convince my husband that I will need a whole new spring wardrobe when we move. Nothing like a shopping spree to chase the clouds away!

YAY! I like 70's. People down here in Florida wear shorts in 70's but that is still a little too cool for me. It's going to be tough in the morning though when I'm out walking the doggies in my jammies. Gawd, I'm going to stick out like a sore thumb in Knoxville.

Wait, 70s is a little too cool for you? Girl, you need to be moving to Honduras, not Knoxville!!!
