Have you ever had a cosmo? It is kind of a cross between a pizza and a sub. ![]() ![]() A nice crusty Italian roll cut open and some of the nice chewy bread taken out - not too much! Slices of provolone up and down the open roll, layered with red, juicy tomatoes slices, covered then with thinly sliced onion (a lot) and sprinkled with olive oil, balsamic vinegar (just a touch) and sprinkled with oregano and fresh basil. It bakes in the oven about 4 - 5 minutes until the cheese is all melted the tomatoes and onions start to soften and blend. Then, it is topped with Italian hard salami, thinly sliced ham, a little shredded parmensan and spices - add more olive oil - and closed up like a big, fat clam!! You eat them warm and never want to stop even with your belly bursting. ![]() ![]() Whew, come on over! I'm going to pop a couple in the oven right now!! ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Would also have to put in a vote for Stefano's and the Windy City Pizza on whole wheat crust. Incredible.

37 days until we visit your lovey city, and it will probably be 38 days until we eat at Harby's! One more thing to look forward to! Sounds like our biggest problem will be choosing what to eat. Maybe we'll just graze from noon to 6!

Our poor bodies are going to be so screwed up!!!!! LOL LCG....Have you finished packing??? I am almost completely through packing - but still need to sell my treadmill and bicycle and one television....then I'll be ready for us to head out of the Keys!!! wooohoooo I'll be waiting for your report on Harby's!!!!! ![]() |
