I had to reply to your message...first of all I was born and raised for a bit in Camden, NJ. Then moved to Florida...a place I can't leave soon enough. I am also a teacher in Florida and looking for a better place to raise my two daughters. When you find area(s) that do not reflect Florida, please let me know. Knoxville is one of the southern cities
I am considering but I know NOTHING about the area and need the advice of some others. Unlike maybe some, as an African American women I highly desire a community rich in Black history and culture with many opportunities for my children to be exposed to the arts & culture. If you know anything on this subject please let me know what opportunties exist.
