Hello All,

I am considering buying a house in Knoxville. I am thinking about about 37922 and 37934 and hope they are not far after you exit the interstate (i.e. do not do lots of turn around till reach the house). I prefer up to around 3000 SqF at 425K or so. I hope they are either new or like new. I have thought about Fox Creek in 37922 (they have newer homes) or Windham Halls at 37934 (older and may be have luck to find an updated nice home but none are existing now). So, can any of the members comment on these two choices and even recommend other subdivisions that fit our criteria.

Also, any opinion about being in city and pay two taxes vs in the county and only pay one tax but contract for fire and trash? What is the best guess for cost of fire and trash at these areas with such SqF?

I do very much appreciate your advice.

Thanks

I just bought a house in 37922 with about 2,200 square feet. I contracted for fire protection today and my annual cost is $320.
